17th December 2004 – Omnitec formed

WelchHouseOmnitec was formed in 2004 and operated out of 600 sq/ft in Welch House, a beautiful converted chapel in Onchan village green.

We suffered two floods at Welch House that gave us fantastic tests of our business contiuity procedures at sister company, Plan B Business continuity!

Mid October 2006 – Moved to 33 Hope Street, Douglas

Omnitec moved to 33 Hope Street, a town house in the centre of Douglas. 1100 sq/ft gave us some breathing room but we eventually began to fill that space with extra people and stock. Being within walking distance of most clients is a real benefit.

February 2012 – Moved to 71 Circular Road, Douglas

Omnitec moved to number 71 Circular Road, a stones throw from Hope Street.

Number 71 brings with it 1700 sq/ft of office and storage space and six parking spaces. We now have lots of space which gives a pleasant working environment and allows us to focus on building the future of Omnitec.

November 2015 – We are hiring!
